Ms. Sheryl Skolnik, CPA, is Chief Compliance Officer & Senior Vice President at American Stock Transfer & Trust Co. Previous to joining the company, Ms. Skolnik was the National Director of IS Assurance at BDO SEIDMAN, LLP, one of AST’s audit firms.
While there, she was responsible for developing methodologies, tools, and training for the Firm’s risk assessment, internal control and SAS 70 practices.
Prior to that, she was a principal at Total Business Solutions, Ltd., a consulting company that provided internal auditing, governance and risk management services.
During that time she began her affiliation with AST in various audit and compliance capabilities and has been working with the company since 1994.
Ms. Skolnik started her career in public accounting at Ernst & Young where she became a partner.
She is both a CPA and CISA (Certified IS Auditor).
