Profil
Dr. Selwyn Yuen is a Head of Research, Senior Portfolio Manager & Partner at Hillsdale Investment Management, Inc. He is responsible for co-managing the firm’s proprietary research process in support of its Canadian, US and Global equity strategies.
He has over 12 years’ experience in financial and quantitative analysis.
He joined Hillsdale in September 2018.
Prior to joining Hillsdale, Dr. Yuen worked for seven years at the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in the Quantitative Equities Group as a Portfolio Manager on the Plan's $15 billion Global Equity Strategy.
Prior to that, he was an Associate on the derivatives desk at Scotia Capital.
He has been a speaker at international conferences including the NYU Stern Microstructure Conference, Midwest Finance Association meeting, IEEE INFOCOM, etc.
He holds a BASc from University of Waterloo, an MASc and MFin from University of Toronto, and a PhD in finance from Northwestern University.
