Mr. Chuck D.
Johnson is Executive Vice President-Engineering at Vestmark, Inc. and Partner at Link Ventures LLLP.
He has worked closely with Dave Blundin in the Boston startup community since 1996.
Most recently, he founded HubAnalytics, LLC, a vertical company in the Link Ventures family that is focused on Quantitative Internet Marketing in the Financial Services market.
Prior to founding HubAnalytics, he founded Vestmark, Inc. in 2001 and remains on the Board today.
While at Vestmark, Chuck was the EVP of Engineering, leading the ground-up design and development of the Vestmark Platform, an integrated platform for trading, portfolio management, performance reporting, and related account servicing functions.
This product serves Investment Managers, RIAs, Broker-Dealers, Bank Trusts, and similar firms in the Wealth Management domain.
Prior to Vestmark, he was a Co-founder at DataSage, a Data Mining and eCRM software provider.
He served as the Director of Engineering and Lead Architect responsible for software development.
He lead the software development efforts through the successful acquisition by Vignette in January 2000 in a half-billion dollar transaction.
His career started as a Computer Engineer for the Department of Defense, working on a variety of real-time distributed systems and internet related technology R&D.
Mr. Johnson received his Masters of Engineering in Digital Systems Engineering in 1989, and his BS in Engineering Science and Mechanics in 1985, both from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
