Mr. William B. Rubin is a Senior Vice President & Senior Research Analyst at Calamos Advisors LLC.
He leads the research effort for the US financials sector, with responsibilities that include conducting fundamental analysis and contributing security selection recommendations.
He has more than 30 years of industry experience at both long-only and long-short investment firms.
Prior to joining Calamos, Mr. Rubin was a Senior Investment Analyst at BlackRock, Inc., where he invested in all segments of financial services stocks for a diversified equity fund group.
Previously, he served as Senior Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager at Hovde Capital Advisors LLC and Dawson-Herman Capital Management, Inc., hedge funds focused on financial services stocks.
Prior to that, he also held Senior Analyst and Portfolio Manager roles at The Boston Company Asset Management, LLC and Keefe Managers Inc. He started his career at Fidelity Investments as a senior analyst and sector fund manager.
He earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School, with concentrations in strategy, Competition and Finance.
He received a B.A. in both Economics and Political Science from Stanford University.
