Profil
Prior to joining Equity International in September 2008, Mr. Virmani was a senior manager in KPMG’s mergers and acquisitions tax practice.
While there he assisted U.S.
and foreign multinational companies with respect to structuring domestic and international mergers and acquisitions, conducting tax due diligence reviews, establishing and financing foreign operations, and repatriating foreign earnings.
Before joining the mergers and acquisitions practice in 2005, Mr. Virmani spent four years in KPMG’s international tax practice and over a year in the firm’s state and local tax practice.
Mr. Virmani earned a BS in accounting and a JD from the University of Illinois.
He is also a certified public accountant.
