La société opère dans deux segments : Rail, Technologies et Services (Rail), et Solutions d'infrastructure. Le segment Rail de la société regroupe plusieurs activités de fabrication, de distribution et de services qui fournissent divers produits, solutions et services aux chemins de fer de fret et de voyageurs ainsi qu'à d'autres entreprises industrielles à travers le monde. Le segment Rail propose également des services de gestion de projets sous contrat et des services après-vente. Le segment Rail comprend les divisions Produits ferroviaires, Gestion mondiale de la friction, et Services et solutions technologiques. Le segment Solutions d'infrastructure conçoit, fabrique et déploie des technologies de pointe qui ont un impact sur l'environnement bâti, notamment des bâtiments et des produits en béton préfabriqué, des produits pour ponts, des revêtements de protection pour canalisations et des services de filetage.
