Yi Young Lam is currently the Director of the Maritime Studies Centre at the National University of Singapore.
He also holds the position of Independent Non-Executive Director at CapitaLand Commercial Trust since 2012 and Director at the Accounting & Corporate Regulatory Authority since 2021.

Additionally, he served as the Non-Executive Independent Director at CapitaLand Commercial Trust Management Ltd.
from 2012 to 2020.
Mr. Lam also held positions at the Sentosa Development Corp., Singapore Ministry of Defence, and Singapore Ministry of Education.
Mr. Lam obtained his graduate degrees from Harvard University and the University of Cambridge.
