Fingland Jr., CPA Managing Partner of BKD, LLP Springfield Bill Fingland is managing partner of BKD, LLP, the accounting firm of choice for growing companies and high net-worth individuals in the central United States.
As one of the 10 largest CPA and advisory firms in the country, BKD operates from 27 offices in 11 states.
Bill is responsible for the leadership and strategic direction of the firm’s approximately 1,500 personnel, including more than 200 partners.
An accomplished speaker and leader in the public accounting profession, Bill serves on the Moores Rowland International (MRI) Executive Committee, chairs its North American Group and serves on its North American Group Executive Committee.
He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants’ (AICPA) Council and past chair of AICPA’s Strategic Planning Committee.
He has been named one of the profession’s top 100 leaders in Accounting Today’s annual listing.
Bill entered the public accounting profession in 1976, joining BKD’s Springfield office where he became a health care consultant.
He later transferred to BKD’s Tulsa office where he served as partner in charge for 10 years, was appointed BKD Health Care Group’s first national leader and served on the firm’s management committee.
He is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia, with a B.S.
degree in business administration, 1974, and an M.A. degree in accounting, 1975.
Bill is a member of the AICPA and Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants.
