Dr. Tusher joined 5AM Ventures in 2006, after serving as a consultant to the firm for four years.
Prior to joining 5AM, she studied cancer genetics and bioinformatics at Stanford University in the lab of Dr. Gilbert Chu.
Her doctoral research is published in PNAS and included the development of algorithms for Significance Analysis of Microarrays, now available by commercial license.
Prior to Stanford, she worked as an engineer at Affymetrix, Inc.
Dr. Tusher holds a BSE in Mechanical Engineering from Princeton University and a PhD in Biochemistry from Stanford University.
She is based in the Menlo Park, CA office.
