Summer Xia is Head of PR and Marketing of Lightspeed China Partners.
She joined the team in 2020 and is based in Shanghai office.
She has over 20 years of industry experience.
She is mainly responsible for the firm’s brand strategy and public relations as well as portfolio marketing and PR support.
Prior to Lightspeed China Partners, Summer served as CEO of Yicai Global, an English brand under China's most influential financial media group Yicai, responsible for editorial management and brand operation.
Before that, she served as Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Shanghai Daily, the first local English daily newspaper on China's mainland, and External Communications Director of the multinational pharmaceutical company MSD.
Summer holds a B.A. in International Journalism and an M.A. in Journalism and Communication from Fudan University.
She has been an international visiting scholar to Chapel Hill University in North Carolina to participate in international exchange projects in 2003.
