Mr. Rhone began his career in the investment management field in 1976, joining the Personal Trust Division of Security Pacific National Bank.
From 1988 to 1990 he served as First Vice President and Divisional Manager with responsibility for a multi-state portfolio management function.
In 1990 Mr. Rhone became Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer of the Personal Trust Division with assets exceeding $12 billion.
Mr. Rhone joined Laird Norton Trust Company in 1991 as Executive Vice President and Chief Investment Officer.
In 1994, he joined Wentworth, Hauser and Violich.
Mr. Rhone received an AB in 1978 and a MA in 1984 from the University of Southern California.
