Dr. Stefan Zeugner is an Economist at European Commission in the Directorate General for Economic and Financial Affairs.
His current research focuses on the analysis of macroeconomic imbalances, and current account imbalances in particular; as well as the impact of structural reforms.
He he has worked as a financial analyst in the government bond markets.
Dr. Zeugner earned his PhD on macro-econometrics at ECARES (Université libre de Bruxelles), Brussels.
Moreover, he holds graduate degrees from the Institute for Advanced Studies in Vienna, the Vienna University of Economics and CEMS.
