Profil
Prior to founding Agamas in 2005, Mr. Fischoff was employed by Clinton Group from November 2003 through March 2004 and from June 1993 through August 2003.
Prior to the creation of the multi-strategy funds, Mr. Fischoff served as Senior Portfolio Manager to the mortgage and asset-backed securities funds (under whose management the portfolios grew from $500 million to $1 billion).
His responsibilities included directing portfolio construction, managing traders, directing trading research and risk management.
From July 2002 to April 2003, he lived and worked in London where he opened and managed Clinton International (UK) Ltd., the UK subsidiary of Clinton Group.
During his tenure at Clinton Group, he also served as Head of Operations and Cash Management.
Mr. Fischoff gained valuable experience in trading systems, interest rate and credit derivatives, mortgages (including design of prepayment models), mortgage derivatives, mortgage options, swaptions, risk management, accounting and P&L systems, compliance, back office settlement and cash management systems.
Mr. Fischoff earned a BS from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business, 1993; CFA charter, January 2003; registered with UK-FSA as Investment Manager (CF-27).
