Mr. Ralph P.
Hartmann, CFA, is Co-Founder & Portfolio Manager at FNB Capital Asset Management Inc.
He counts more than 25 years of experience in financial markets.
After spending several years employed by J.P.
Morgan in the North American financial capitals of New York and Toronto, Mr. Hartmann gained valuable international experience in Europe while working at Honeywell.
In 1995, he returned to Montreal and began his career at National Bank, where for many years he worked closely with Michel Falk as a Portfolio Manager in National Bank Financial’s Portfolio Management department (1998 – 2009).
In addition to managing assets for individual and institutional clients, Mr. Hartmann was also instrumental in integrating ETFs into National Bank Financial’s investment solutions.
Finally, from 2009 through 2014, he was the Senior Portfolio Manager for National Bank’s high-net-worth division - Private Wealth 1859.
He has a Bachelor’s degree in History from Harvard University and an MBA from INSEAD.
