Prior to founding Aceras in May 2008, Mr. Barber was a Vice President at Paramount BioSciences where he was responsible for the identification, financial and medical review and acquisition of medical technologies.
Before that, he was a Senior Associate in the Biotechnology Group of Thomson Financial (The Carson Group), where he advised the executive management teams of public and private biotechnology companies on their financial, development and investor strategies.
Mr. Barber has extensive experience founding, managing, and investing in emerging biotechnology companies, and negotiating financial and legal structures of partnership agreements.
Mr. Barber received his B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College.
