Nicholas Edward Goeders is President and Founder of Embera NeuroTherapeutics, Inc. He is Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology & Neuroscience at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center.
Dr. Goeders is a Member of the American College of Neuropsychopharmacology, the Psychopharmacology and Substance Abuse Division for the American Psychological Association, the Neuropharmacology Division of the American Society for Pharmacology & Experimental Therapeutics, the Behavioral Pharmacology Society, and the Society for Neuroscience.
He has been a Faculty Member of the Louisiana State University since 1985.
Dr. Goeders was a Staff Fellow of the National Institute on Drug Abuse at its intramural program at the Addiction Research Center and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Department of Neuroscience.
He was Director of the College on Problems of Drug Dependence.
Dr. Goeders received a PhD in Pharmacology from the Louisiana State University in 1984.
