Mr. Bowers is a successful entrepreneur with diverse interests, many of which originated from his extensive experience with the automotive retail industry.
He built an industry leading organization that included fourteen franchises in the Southeast.
In 1997, he was one of the founders of Sonic Automotive, Inc. (SAH) in connection with its successful consolidation of the retail automotive sector.
After serving on the company's Board of Directors and leading Sonic's acquisition strategy, Mr. Bowers left the company in 1999 to pursue other business opportunities.
