Mr. Michael E.
Shea, CFA MBA, is Managing Member at 8th Street Investments LLC.
He is also Chief Investment Officer of the firm.
He works with each client to establish goals, evaluate risks, and understand issues before building and managing a client’s customized portfolio.
Prior to establishing 8th Street in October 2008, Mr. Shea was a Senior Portfolio Manager with U.S.
Trust Company.
He managed over $500 million in assets on behalf of high net worth individuals, foundations and endowments.
He also spent over ten years in U.S.
Trust’s Special Fiduciary Services Division as the Senior Financial Analyst providing investment recommendations, valuations and advice associated with the acquisition, sale, and retention of employer securities in qualified and non-qualified employee benefit plans.
Mr. Shea received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Colorado in 1988 and his M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting from New York University in 1994.
He received his Charted Financial Analyst designation in 1997 and is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Washington, DC.
