Mr. Sellers led a management team responsible for significantly improving the operating results of FHS, including growing revenue 3-fold and improving operating margins by 15 percentage points over a two plus-year time frame culminating in the sale of FHS to Emerson Electric Co. in 2006.
Prior to FHS, Mr. Sellers served as CEO, COO or CFO of several investor-backed companies owned by firms including Kohlberg & Co., Three Cities Research, Inc., Fox Paine & Co., and Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.
Mr. Sellers has extensive retailing and consumer products experience based on his tenure with several large retailing organizations including R.H.
Macy & Company, Inc. (Macy's East and Macy's Northeast - Vice Chairman & COO; Macy's South / Bullock's - President & COO), Melville Corporation, Inc. (Marshall's Stores - CFO & COO), May Company, Inc. (Foley's Department Store - EVP Finance, Operations & CFO) in addition to other senior management positions with Federated Department Stores, Inc. and Associated Dry Goods, Inc.
Mr. Sellers holds a BBA from the University of Missouri - Kansas City.
