Mr. Mark Brown is a Director & Head Fixed Income at Harbour Asset Management Ltd. He joined Harbour in 2011 and has over 30 years of experience working in fixed income markets in New Zealand and offshore.
He leads the fixed income team at Harbour and is the portfolio manager of the Harbour NZ Core Fixed Interest Fund and the Harbour Income Fund.
As a portfolio manager, Mr. Brown is primarily involved in investment strategy and risk management, being ultimately responsible for the investment performance of the firm’s longer-maturity bond funds.
He has experience across the disciplines of credit analysis, economics and quantitative analysis.
He has a BCA from Victoria University of Wellington and a MBA in finance from the University of Rochester, NY.
