Marija is a lawyer-turned-entrepreneur, an innovation and business consultant, a feminist, and an advocate for diversity and inclusion in the tech sector.
She joined Simsan as a venture partner in mid-2022.
Marija is founder and CEO of Women of Wearables, a leading global organization and ecosystem by and for women and allies in wearable tech, health tech and Femtech.
As a Forbes contributor, Marija writes for ForbesWomen, where her coverage has included diversity and inclusion, female leadership, women’s health and healthcare technology innovation.
In addition, Marija regularly appears as a public speaker and a panellist at conferences, meetups, and corporate events, where she speaks on such topics as diversity, emerging technologies, and female-led entrepreneurship.
She is also a startup mentor and advisor and has worked with various startup programmes and accelerators as well as EU-funded projects delivering support and mentorship in areas such as marketing, business growth, and strategy.
