Margaret L.
Morton is Vice President of Governmental Affairs for Northeast Utilities Service Co. She joined Northeast Utilities Service in January 1992 and currently serves as a Governmental Affairs Representative.
Prior to joining Northeast Utilities Service, Ms. Morton was Executive Assistant to the President of Connecticut State University from 1982 to 1987 and an Executive Assistant to the Commissioner of the Connecticut Department of Housing from 1987 to 1991.
She is a Director of the Connecticut Housing Investment Fund, the Connecticut Community Development Association, Co-Opportunity Inc. Commissioner of the Connecticut State Lottery, and the Governors of Southern Connecticut State University.
Ms. Morton is a Member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Ms. Morton is a Member of the Legislative Committees for the Middlesex and Metro Hartford Chambers of Commerce, and the Wesleyan Alumni Association.
She received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in History from Wesleyan University.
