After spending fifteen years in agricultural merchanting trading commodities, he made a career move to financial services joining Towry Law as a Financial Planning Consultant in 1991.
He then worked for Aon Consulting and successor companies advising clients on investments, pensions, trusts and tax planning.
After joining Dexia Private Banking in August 2005, he is now based in the Winchester office, following the transfer of this business to Rathbone Investment Management, and provides investment advice to clients of the multi-manager portfolio service.
Mr. Hewson graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Politics from Manchester University.
He is an Associate of the Personal Finance Society and a Chartered Financial Planner.
