Kristina (Kristy) Landers is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Unusual Ventures.
Prior to joining Unusual, she was the VP of Finance at August Capital for 6 years, as well as Tax Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP for the 7 years preceding.
At August, Kristy spearheaded many initiatives to modernize their accounting functions including implementing a fully integrated/reconciled accounting system and new Limited Partner portal allowing for the seamless, timely, and secure release of data to Limited Partners.
Her background in partnership taxation has allowed Kristy a relatively unique perspective in managing finance functions and given her the opportunity to get to know the Venture Capital business from many angles.
Kristy graduated with a BA in Business Management, Economics from University of California, Santa Cruz and with an MS in Accountancy from the San Jose State University.
