Wood is a President, Chief Executive Officer & Chairwoman at Kennedy Capital Management, Inc.
She began her investment career in 2001.
Prior to joining the firm in August 2016, Ms. Wood spent over 7 years with Mercer Investment Consulting in St. Louis, where she was most recently Senior Partner, National Non-Profit Business Leader.
Before joining Mercer, she served as Vice President, Consultant Relations during her over two year tenure at Wellington Management Company.
Additionally, she held a number of senior-level corporate finance and treasury positions of increasing importance at the Ford Motor Company over the course of 13 years.
Her previous affiliations include the Economic Club of Chicago, the Women Investment Professionals of Chicago, and the Finance Committee for Deborah’s Place, a non-profit organization for the benefit of homeless women in Chicago.
Ms. Wood received a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Truman State University and a Master of Business Administration from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
