Mr. James D.
Klaus is a Managing Director, Consultant & Client Relations at Silvercrest Asset Management Group LLC.
He has 25 years’ experience in the investment industry.

In this role, Mr. Klaus works closely with the investment team on the investment process, as well as client portfolio oversight and implementation.
Mr. Klaus joined Silvercrest in 2019 as a result of Silvercrest’s acquisition of Cortina Asset Management, where he was a Managing Director of Institutional Services.
Prior to Cortina, he served as Senior Relationship Manager working with institutional clients and investment consultants with Wells Capital Management.
Before that, he was with M&I Investment Management Corp., now known as Columbia Threadneedle Investments, as Vice President for institutional client service and portfolio management.
Mr. Klaus received a BS from the University of Wisconsin and an MS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
