Mr. Jim F.
Tomeo is Chief Operating Officer & Senior Portfolio Manager at SSARIS Advisors LLC.
Prior to joining SSARIS, Mr. Tomeo was with RXR Capital Management, Inc. He is a member of the Center for International Securities and Derivatives Markets and is the US representative to the Education and Research Committee of the Alternative Investment Management Association based in Europe.
He is the former Chairman of the International Committee of the Managed Funds Association and was previously on the advisory board of Institutional Investor Japan.
Before joining RXR, he worked for Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette as an alternative investment consultant and the LTV Corporation in New York.
He established himself as a Japan specialist early in his career.
Mr. Tomeo graduated from Bucknell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, the University of Hartford with a Master of Business Administration degree, and the Institute of International Studies and Training (Japanese business study program) in 1988.
He studied International Finance and Capital Markets at New York University.
