Prior to joining Roth Capital Partners, Dr. Tang was an analyst with Rodman & Renshaw in New York, covering biotech companies spanning all market capitalizations and various therapeutic areas.
He also worked as a consultant on Specialty Pharmaceutical equity research at Lazard Capital Markets.
Before joining Wall Street, Dr. Tang worked in Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Cancer Center as a hematology/oncology fellow.
Dr. Tang received his Ph.D.
from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics.
He conducted his post-doctoral research focusing on cancer biology and immunology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute at Harvard Medical School.
His work resulted in nine publications in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
Dr. Tang also holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, where he was an F.C.
Austin Scholar.
His B.S.
in Biological Sciences was from Tsinghua University in Beijing.
