Jer Luang has more than 30 years of experience in auditing, regulatory and corporate finance, with particular expertise in handling such issues in small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
She specializes in analyzing business requirements of SMEs in order to formulate and implement specific processes designed to evolve with company growth objectives including monitoring and reporting of key financial metrics to help management meet business and strategic goals.
Jer Luang was the Founder and President of Chan Jer Luang & Partners until 2008.
Prior to founding her own business, she was an internal auditor for the Port of Singapore Authority (PSA) and a senior auditor at Pricewaterhouse (now known as PricewaterhouseCoopers, PWC).
She is active in helping non-profit organizations implement rigorous cost control and internal audit processes to achieve capital efficiency.
Notably, Jer Luang is currently a non-practicing member and Fellow of the Institute of CPA Singapore.
She is a founder and current President of DEW Credit Cooperative, a women-based micro-finance entity.
She also sits on the Board and Credit Committee of the Singapore Credit Co-Operatives League.
Various other positions held include the Treasurer of the University Women's Association (Singapore), a director of Epitaph Foundation Ltd, internal auditor of Khoon Chee Vihara, and secretary of the Lian Shan Shuang Lin Monastery restoration committee.
