Mr. Lagarde joined Boston Millennia Partners in early 2000.
He is experienced in building companies around technologies spun out of universities such as Georgia Tech and MIT.
Mr. Lagarde serves as board member of Nexidia, which uses phonetic-based technology for audio and video search, and SensorLogic, a software-as-a-service company, and manages the investment in Calix, a broadband access solution provider.
Prior to joining Millennia, Mr. Lagarde was a Regional Market Manager with Corning, where he spent four years.
He was previously a project leader at Elf Aquitaine, now Total.
He is involved with the French technical and scientific community in Boston and has been nominated by French government decree to serve as a Foreign Trade Advisor for the New England region (CCEF - Conseillers du Commerce Exterieur de la France Boston-New England) where he was former Treasurer and then Vice President.
Mr. Lagarde holds a B.S.
in Mathematics and Physics from Lycée Pierre de Fermat, an M.S.
in Engineering from ENSEEIHT, Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Ingénieurs, at the Institut National Polytechnique in Toulouse, France, and an MBA from The Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
He is a dual citizen of France and the United States.
