Mr. Witczak is responsible for identification, analysis and selection of private equity investments.
He is actively involved in all aspects of managing the portfolio companies.
Prior to joining Penton Partners he worked for European Privatization & Investment Corporation.
He was responsible for analyses of the domestic energy and telecommunication sector.
From 1999 to 2002 he worked as an Investment Director at BIG Finance - the Corporate Finance and Advisory Company of the BIG-BG Bank Group.
He led the M&A team, which was responsible for all aspects related to the M&A transactions, including selection of target companies, transaction structuring, valuation of companies, raising capital and negotiations.
He also advised companies on MBO and EBO transactions.
From 1995 to 1999 he was an Investment Director at Trinity Management – Managers of Third National Investment Fund, where he was responsible for private equity and venture capital transactions.
He completed over 60 transactions mainly related to minority shareholdings of the Fund.
He graduated from the Warsaw School of Economics in 1995 and holds Polish brokerage license.
In the past, he was Member of Supervisory Boards, i.e.
OCTAVA NIF, PARKIET (the paper of the WSE) and other portfolio companies
