Prior to joining SWIB, Mr. Hung was the senior investment officer and acting division chief at the African Development Bank, Ivory Coast, where his duties included managing fixed income portfolios.
He previously worked for IDS/American Express Inc. (now RiverSource Investments) in Minneapolis from 1987 to 1993 where his duties included investment/economic analyst and business analyst for the Investment Department.
Mr. Hung received a bachelor’s degree in finance/accounting and a master’s degree in applied economics from Acadia University in Nova Scotia, Canada.
He also attended McMaster University in Ontario, Canada for additional post-graduate work in international economics and monetary economics.
He also earned the Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) designation in 2000.
