He is a member of the Audit Committee of the Seton Family of Hospitals, and sits on the Investment Sub-Committee of Ascension Health, the parent of the Seton Family of Hospitals and the largest not-for-profit hospital group in the United States.
He is a member of the LBJ Family Wealth Advisors Investment Committee, and is a Registered Investment Advisory Representative with the Texas State Securities Board (2005).
Prior to moving to Texas in 1992 from Toronto, Mr. Turpin had a 20-year career as an international private banking executive with two of Canada’s most prominent banks, both in Canada and in offshore financial centers.
Previously, he served as a board member and chair of the Investment Committee for the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and a member of the board of the Seton Family of Hospitals.
He received his graduate degree from the University of Bradford.
