Harold Copping is the retired President and General Manager of Teleflex ( Canada ) Ltd., a designer and manufacturer of hydraulic and thermal energy products headquartered in Richmond, British Columbia.
Over the course of Mr. Coppings' 26 year tenure with Teleflex ( Canada ) Ltd., the business grew from 37 employees with sales of $1.7 million, to 400 employees with sales of $120 million.
Following his retirement in 2002, Mr. Copping has provided management consulting services, through Copping Services Ltd., to Teleflex ( Canada ) Ltd., The Executive Committee (T.E.C.) and other clients.
Prior to joining Teleflex ( Canada ) Ltd., Mr. Copping spent three years in the chemicals and plastics industry with Union Carbide in Montreal, Québec, followed by 13 years with two British Columbia manufacturers, MacMillan Bloedel Packaging Inc. and Belkin Packaging Ltd.
He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from Simon Fraser University.
Mr. Copping is a professional engineer.
