Mr. Chiate joined Behrman Capital in July 1999.
Most recently, he was a Vice President at BT Capital Partners, where he spent four years working on numerous private equity transactions, including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and growth financings.
Prior to that, he spent three years working on highly leveraged transactions for BT Alex Browns Structured Finance Group.
He currently serves on the board of ILC Industries, Inc.
Mr. Chiate graduated with distinction from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
