Mr. Braun was previously group head for cyclical industry research and responsible for research in industrial credits such as home construction, packaging and paper.

Prior to Principal Mutual, Mr. Braun worked for three years at Pacific Investment Management Company.
Mr. Braun received a BA in Business Administration from California State University Fullerton, and an MBA from Indiana University.
He is also a CFA charter holder.
