Gerard became a director of Netcentric in May 1999 and was appointed Chief Financial Officer on 1 September 1999, prior to which he acted as a consultant.
Mr Thomson's background has been in investment banking, primarily with Merrill Lynch, Saloman Smith Barney and AIG.
He later started his own consultancy to advise companies on overseas financial and marketing problems and became Chief Executive of a small public company in the USA that was
subsequently sold.
He currently has one other non executive directorship.
