Mr. Gavin Dennis joined RMB in July 2006 and has eight years private equity experience gained in both Australia and the UK.
Prior to joining RMB he was an Investment Director with Gresham Rabo Management in Sydney.
In this role he was responsible for investing, managing and exiting investments in the food, beverage and agriculture industries.
Prior to joining Gresham, Mr. Dennis had roles with ANZ Private Equity, where he established and headed up the private equity operation in Perth, and DB Capital Partners in Sydney, where he led investments in the technology sector.
In these roles he has worked on a variety of private equity investments from technology start-ups to mid sized management buyouts.
He has also been actively involved in the growth of investee companies through board participation.
Prior to relocating to Australia in 1999 with his family, Mr. Dennis was with Murray Johnstone Private Equity in the UK.
In this role he worked on a range of mid market expansion capital and buyout transactions in the North of England and Scotland in a variety of industries including precision engineering, manufacturing, food and telecommunications.
Mr. Dennis began his career in mergers and acquisitions with Deloitte Corporate Finance, where he spent four years advising on a wide range of private equity transactions in the UK.
Mr. Dennis graduated from Aberdeen University with a degree in Economics and Accounting and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors
