Mr. Ed H.
Klees is General Counsel at University of Virginia Investment Management Co. He is involved in almost all aspects of UVIMCO’s business, including fund management, compliance and operations, and counseling both management and the Board.
Prior to joining UVIMCO in November 2008, he was Associate General Counsel of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and was previously affiliated with several New York-based law firms: Berlack, Israels & Liberman; Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison; and Shearman & Sterling.
Mr. Klees holds B.A. and JD degrees from Columbia University.
He is admitted to the Virginia State Bar as a Corporate Counsel.
He is also admitted to the Bars of the District of Columbia and the State of New York.
