Mr. McDonald joined First Global Financial Services on April 1, 2004 in the capacity of Research Manager and was promoted in July 2005 to the position of Assistant Vice President - Economic Analysis and Research.
A further promotion has resulted in his current position as Vice President for Portfolio Management & Research.
In this capacity, Mr. McDonald main focus is to generate revenues for the company through the building and management of investment portfolios using the company's products as well as providing advice to clients on their portfolios in accordance with their respective objectives.
Prior to joining First Global, Mr. McDonald held positions of Risk Manager and Market Risk Manager at Citibank as well as that of Business Analyst at Cable & Wireless Jamaica Limited.
He was also an Economist at the Bank of Jamaica.
Mr. McDonald is a graduate of the University of the West Indies, where he earned a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Economics and a Master of Sciences degree in Economics.
