GSC typically focuses on securities that are either the most senior in the capital structure or have only a moderate level of debt senior to them. GSC's Structured Mortgage Products group manages various synthetic and hybrid ABS/CDO funds, a real estate investment trust and also pursues a mortgage-related absolute return strategy.
