Mr. David A.
Lough
is the Founder & Chairman at Heartwood Wealth Management Ltd.
He is a Trustee of the Haberdashers’ Aske’s Federation Trust, Beckett's Trust Housing Association Ltd., the Skyrme Hart Charitable Trust and of the Friends of Penshurst Church and is a Member of the Advisory Board of Charinco and Charishare.
He has provided investment and financial advice to private clients and their families for many years.
He specialised in shipping and then international investment banking, spending some time in Japan, Hong Kong and Australia, before becoming a Managing Director of County Natwest Investment Bank.
He joined Cripps Harries Hall in 1988 in a joint venture that has since evolved into Heartwood.
He was first a Director and then a Managing Director of Cripps Harries Hall's Finance and Investment Services Division.
In addition, he founded and was the Chairman of the Association of Solicitors Investment Managers from 1993 to 1996.
He became the Chief Executive Officer of Cripps Portfolio following its demerger with Cripps Harries Hall, which rebranded as Heartwood Wealth Management after a successful management buy-out in December 2005.
Following the 20-year anniversary of Heartwood, he became the Chairman in March 2009.
He is a past Chairman of the Temple Grove Schools Trust.
Mr. Lough graduated from Oxford University with a degree in History and Modern Languages.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment and a Member of its Wealth Management Committee.
He is also a Member of the Financial Services Forum's Wealth Management Committee.
