Arnold van Os is Managing Partner and joined Frontiers Capital in 2008 from ABN AMRO, where, since 2003, he co-headed the Merchant Banking business.
He was previously Head of ABN AMRO's Corporate Development department and a Managing Director in Corporate Finance.
Prior to that he spent close to 10 years as an investment banker at Swiss Bank Corporation/SBC Warburg.
Other roles at ABN AMRO include Head of Corporate Development, responsible for group strategy and M&A, and senior Managing Director in the Amsterdam-based M&A department.
Prior to ABN AMRO Arnold spent close to 10 years as an investment banker at Swiss Bank Corporation and SBC Warburg, initially as co-founder of the bank’s Amsterdam-based investment banking subsidiary.
He spent most of his time in the London investment banking operations, among others as a senior Director in the European M&A department and as Head of Strategy & Planning for the bank’s investment banking division.
He started his career in the Merchant Banking department of Pierson, Heldring & Pierson N.V.
in Amsterdam, with particular focus on domestic M&A assignments and IPOs on the Amsterdam Stock Exchange.
He has an MBA from Wharton and a MSc degree in Economics from the University of Rotterdam.
