Allen is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Sciens Capital Ltd.
He has experience in using separately managed accounts within fund of hedge funds and has managed both single-strategy and multi-strategy fund of hedge fund portfolios over the past 13 years.
Prior to joining Sciens' fund of hedge funds business in 2011, Mr. Allen was Co-Founder & Chief Investment Officer of Eddington Capital Management Ltd, a London-based company established in 2003.
He managed Eddington’s two flagship products, including the Eddington Macro Opportunities Fund which won the InvestHedge Best New Fund Award after generating a 25% gain in 2008.
Previously, he was the Portfolio Manager for hedge funds at EFG Asset Management Limited between 1999 and 2003.
Mr. Allen holds a Bachelor of Science Joint Honours degree in International Management & Modern Languages from the University of Bath.
