Universal Corporation est une entreprise agricole internationale qui fournit des produits et des solutions répondant aux besoins en constante évolution et aux spécifications précises de ses clients. La société est active dans le secteur du tabac en feuilles et investit dans le développement de sa plateforme d’ingrédients d’origine végétale. Elle exerce ses activités à travers deux segments : les opérations tabac et les opérations ingrédients. Le segment des activités tabac consiste à se procurer et à transformer du tabac en feuilles séché à l'air chaud, du tabac Burley, du tabac séché à l'air sombre et du tabac oriental pour le compte de fabricants de produits du tabac destinés au grand public, ainsi qu'à fournir des services connexes. Par l’intermédiaire de son segment « Ingrédients », elle s’approvisionne en matières premières à l’échelle mondiale et les transforme au moyen de divers procédés de fabrication à valeur ajoutée afin de produire des ingrédients végétaux spécialisés, notamment des fruits, des légumes, des extraits botaniques et des arômes destinés aux fabricants de produits de grande consommation, aux détaillants et aux entreprises du secteur agroalimentaire. Elle est présente dans plus de 30 pays sur les cinq continents.
