Egyptian Starch and Glucose Company est spécialisé dans la production et la commercialisation d'amidon de maïs et de sirop de glucose. Le CA par famille de produits se répartit comme suit : - sirop de glucose (49,3%) : destiné à la fabrication de confiseries et de glaces ; - amidon de maïs (26,6%) : utilisé dans la fabrication de produits alimentaires (biscuits, bonbons, produits de boulangerie, etc.), de produits textiles, de cartons, d'adhésifs et de colles ; - huile de maïs (4,1%) ; - autres (20%) : notamment gluten de maïs dédié à l'alimentation animale.
