Prior to joining Vision Capital, Mr. Evens worked as a research analyst for Jensen Investment Management assessing investment holdings and opportunities.
Additionally, he started his career at Hewitt Associates LLC where he spent eleven years.
His roles included Senior Investment Consultant and Team Leader of an investment research team.
He earned his BS in Labor and Industrial Relations with a minor in Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.
He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business, with concentrations in the fields of Finance, Accounting and Managerial & Organizational Behavior.
He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and Portland Society of Financial Analysts.
Mr. Evens moved to Portland in 2004.
He and his growing family (one son and counting) enjoy the scenic beauty and plentiful outdoor activities of the Pacific Northwest.
