Prior to that time, he spent 14 years in the computer industry at Data General as Vice President of Software, and at Hewlett-Packard, where he held several management and technical positions.
He has been Director of Convergent Networks Inc. since August 2000.
He served as Director of NMS Communications Corp.
from 2000 to May 2007.
He served as a Director of Stratus Computer Inc., since February 1980 and Ezenia Inc. Mr. Foster received his undergraduate degree from San Jose State University, a graduate degree from Santa Clara University, and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
