As a founding partner of Alpine Pacific Capital, Mr. Marker is active in all aspects of the firm’s operations.
Prior to co-founding Alpine Pacific, Mr. Marker was a Managing Director at Montlake Capital, a Seattle-based growth equity firm, where he participated in building the portfolios of two separate funds over nearly ten years.
While at Montlake he led both minority and control transactions, and was actively engaged as a board member in several of the firm’s portfolio investments.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Marker was an investment professional at another Seattle-based private equity firm, lived in Silicon Valley while working at a venture-backed technology company and was part of an acquisitions team that helped build the largest full-service car wash chain the U.S.
He currently serves on the boards of the Seattle Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG); the Seattle Chapter of Gen-Next (a private organization of executives dedicated to learning about and becoming engaged in the most pressing challenges facing future generations); and the King County Chapter of the National Football Foundation & Hall of Fame.
Mr. Marker holds an A.B. in English from Dartmouth College.
