Profil
Sushma joined Samsara in July 2020 as Head of Marketing and Investor Relations.
She is responsible for overseeing communications with LPs and leading fundraising efforts for the Firm.
Prior to joining Samsara, she was a Managing Director at Indus Capital Partners in their Client Advisory Group from 2018-2020 where she was responsible for targeted capital raising across their long short equity and long only equity funds.
Previously, she was a Managing Director at Pine River Capital Management on the Marketing and Investor Relations team from 2010-2016 and a Partner, Head of Business Development from 2016-2018.
In this role she was instrumental in raising significant capital across the Firm’s global multi-strategy relative value platform, overseeing global investor relationships, and was actively involved in the Operating Committee and Chair of the Charitable Initiatives Committee.
Prior to that, she was in the Capital Introductions business at Citigroup, Goldman, Sachs and Co., and Credit Suisse.
Sushma has a BA from Northwestern University.
